In this season, the show went back to airing one new episode a week, but stayed in the hour-length format, filling up the second half-hour with episodes from previous seasons and some of the prime-time specials from the 1980s. This entire season, along with the second half of season 6, is available on Garfield and Friends: Volume 5 DVD set. Also worth noting is tha t here, a new the me song was add ed that w as writ ten by J.R. Jo hnston and Neil Panto n. The the me was sung by J.R. John ston. This th eme song w as not s hown inte rnational ly, and as a result, it does not ap pear on the DVDs (although Garfield&# 39;s quo tations are kept intact ). This new i ntroduction seq uence u sed most clip s from Seaso ns 5-7 an d a few from t he first two seasons, as well as Ga rfield in Pa radise and G arfield&#3 9;s Feline Fa ntasies. The episod es stopped using a few s econds of the t heme pla ying in the episode titl e cards after season seven& amp;#39;s fourth ep isode; musi c from the episodes we re used in the title cards u ntil the show ended, even though season six used m usic from so me of their epi sodes.詳情
