Griff B onnell (Sulli van) and his brothers arrive in a small, A rizona tow n. He is a U.S . Marsh al looking to arrest Howard S wain (Ch uck Robers on), coi ncidenta lly one of lan downer Jessica Drummon d’s (Stanwyck) 40 guns . The town i s being terrorized an d trashed by Brockie and his boys. He ’s an ar rogant drunk an d bully but when he shoots an old buddy of Griff’ s, he and h is brothers i ntervene. Griff strides purpo sefully t owards the a ction, un concerned at the mayhem g oing on. Brock ie’s bud dies recogni ze the lawman and flee but the drunk Brockie d oesn’t know or care.
