When he wa s a baby, on e of his vet appointmen ts ended being the last tim e he saw his d og parents. During that day, wh ile the yet mad e baby Co urage w ait in the wai ting room, h e sent his par ents up into space. T hen Cour age ended u p on the st reets. After wards, a lady named M uriel found Courage and took him home to her home in the mid dle of N owhere, Kansas, wi th her mean, rude, and cr anky husband, Eustac e Bagge.
