Min Ji-suk run s a &quo t;ticke t bar&a mp;quot;wher e customers ca n purchase tic kets for cer tain & ;quot;services& amp;quo t;in th e town of Sokch o in Gangw on-do. She hire s Miss Yang (Ahn So-young ), Miss Hong ( Lee Hye-young), and Se-yo ung (Jeon Se-youn g) through the employm ent agency. Mi ss Yang and Mis s Hong, who are well experien ced in this typ e of busine ss, are used t o acceptin g propositions from customer s. But S e-young, who is dati ng a col lege student na med Min-s u, rejects all requests for sexual fa vors. When Min- su prof esses to hav ing proble ms with his tuitio n and finan ces, Se-young reassures h im that she w ill procure the necess ary fund s for him. When the ba r' s client ele beg ins to d windle beca use of Se-you ng, Ji-s uk reprimand s her sever ely. Se-you ng devel ops a cl ose relatio nship with a Ca ptain Pak and even allows h im to sleep wit h her. She as ks Captai n Pak to find Min-su emp loyment on a boat, but wh en Min-su comes to Sokc ho for his new job, he see s how Se-youn g has been making her living. Sho cked, he turns h is back o n the job and leave s. When he eve ntually re turns to Sokcho, he scathingly den ounces Se-young& #39;s mora lity and se vers their rel ationship. D ecades ago, Ji-suk had stumbled into the bar business in a desperat e effort to sup port her hus band, who was ser ving time in p rison; she lat er left him v oluntarily o ut of sh ame and moral d egradati on. Concer ned that S e-young will e nd up with th e same fate, Ji-suk asks Min-su to meet with her. She begs him not t o aband on Se-young, but he f latly ref uses. Ji-suk r eacts by push ing Min- su into the sea, and suf fers a me ntal breakdown that lands he r in a psychia tric inst itution.詳情
