In this season, the show went back to airing one new episode a week, but stayed in the hour-length format, filling up the second half-hour with episodes from previous seasons and some of the prime-time specials from the 1980s. This entire season, along with the second half of season 6, is available on Garfield and Friends: Volume 5 DVD set. Also worth noting is that here, a new theme so ng was adde d that was written b y J.R. J ohnston and Neil Pan ton. The t heme was sun g by J.R. Joh nston. This theme song was not shown internationa lly, and as a result, it d oes not appear on the DVD s (although Garfield& ;#39;s q uotation s are k ept inta ct). This new introductio n sequence us ed most clips from Se asons 5-7 and a few from the first two seas ons, as well as Garfield in Parad ise and Gar field& #39;s Feline Fa ntasies. The episodes stopped using a few seco nds of t he theme pl aying in the episode ti tle car ds afte r seaso n seven&#39 ;s fourth epi sode; mus ic from the episod es were u sed in the ti tle cards unti l the sh ow ended, e ven though se ason si x used music from some of their epi sodes.詳情
