Whe n they arriv e at the hotel, the Latvian ambassador who is also staying there i s killed. Mo nk saw the kill er but only his ear. So he tries to help the NYPD so lve the case h oping they will help them find the man. When Monk go es downto wn, he gets lost and gets swept up in al l the chaos.
