In 1965, Bob Crane, who h ad achieved so me earl ier suc cess as a television s upporting ac tor, was w orking as a s uccessful m orning radio D J at KNX Los Angeles. Despite e njoying his work, p hotography ( especial ly of the fem ale form ) and dr umming, Crane wanted to be a movie star.
