In this season, the show went back to airing one new episode a week, but stayed in the hour-length format, filling up the second half-hour with episodes from previous seasons and some of the prime-time specials from the 1980s. This entire season, along with the second half of season 6, is available on Garfield and Friends: Volume 5 DVD set. Al so worth noting is that her e, a new theme so ng was added th at was wr itten by J.R. J ohnston and Neil Pant on. The theme was sung b y J.R. Johnst on. This theme song was not shown int ernational ly, and as a result, it does not ap pear on the DVDs (althoug h Garfield& #39;s quo tations a re kept inta ct). This new introduct ion seque nce used most c lips from Se asons 5-7 an d a few from t he first tw o seasons, as well as Gar field in Para dise and Garfield&# 39;s Feli ne Fantas ies. The e pisodes stopped using a few second s of the theme playing i n the episod e title cards after sea son seven&# 39;s fourth ep isode; music from the episod es were use d in the titl e cards until the show ended, e ven thoug h season six us ed music fr om some of the ir episodes.詳情
