In this season, the show went back to airing one new episode a week, but stayed in the hour-length format, filling up the second half-hour with episodes from previous seasons and some of the prime-time specials from the 1980s. This entire season, along with the second half of season 6, is available on Garfield and Friends: Volume 5 DVD set. Also wort h noting i s that here, a new theme son g was added t hat was wr itten by J.R. Johnston an d Neil Panton. The th eme was sung by J.R. Johnston . This th eme song was not sho wn internation ally, and as a result , it do es not app ear on the DVDs (although Ga rfield&#3 9;s quotati ons are kept i ntact). This new introdu ction seq uence used mos t clips f rom Seas ons 5-7 an d a few from t he first tw o season s, as well as Garfield in Paradis e and Ga rfield& #39;s Feli ne Fantasies . The e pisodes s topped using a few sec onds of the t heme playing i n the episod e title c ards af ter season seven&a mp;#39;s fourth epis ode; mus ic from the episodes were used in the title car ds unti l the show end ed, even though se ason six used m usic from some of th eir episodes.詳情
