Series 7 of Doc tor Who is expected to a ir on BBC On e throughout 2012 and 2013.[1] The BBC annou nced the news of the n ew series, which will cont ain four teen epis odes, on the official Doctor Who site on 8 June 2011.[ 2] Series 7 wi ll begin its run in the Autu mn of 2012 wit h five re gular stand- alone ep isodes and a Christmas Spec ial. It w ill then b e followed by the remaining e ight epi sodes in 201 3.
